  • At Warhorse Liberation, we believe in the profound healing power of the human-animal bond. Our mission is three-fold: to rescue and rehabilitate horses facing neglect or abuse, to offer free therapeutic equine-assisted services to veterans and first responders who have served our nation with courage and dedication, and to grow/provide free produce for those in need within the Black Hills Community.

Nonprofit’s focus

  • Rescue

    It all starts with rescuing horses out of the slaughter pipeline.

  • Heal

    Next, we rehabilitate and train all our horses using our therapy certification so every horse leaves being capable of providing therapy to their forever home.

  • Therapy

    Lastly, we provide Veterans FREE services - including Equine Life Coaching, Therapeutic Riding Lessons and Veteran Horse Training.

  • Garden

    Focusing on our community's whole health, we grow produce to give for free to those in need. Additionally, we give away free plants as we can.
