(Baby) blu

Blu was given to Warhorse Liberation, specifically to become one of our Therapy Horses. She came from a loving home, but was largely untrained. Our Founder, Allison, had to go out to their property on a few occasions to do some Halter training in preparation to getting her loaded on a trailer… which getting her on the trailer the 2 times we needed to was quite the…”adventure” hahaha.

Blu’s temperament, though, is extraordinary. She’s naturally very sweet natured, loves attention and scratches. Blu is still in training for some Groundwork and will soon be started under saddle. Due to Blu’s natural sweetness, Blu does participate in some of our Groundwork therapy sessions.

Blu was born on May 23rd, 2012. Blu is Half Shire, Half Quarter horse and is a big girl. She’s the leader of our herd and protector of Honey. She’s often the first to the gate for loves and treats.
